New Tokenomics of the Cryptounit Blockchain

The Cryptounit blockchain is based on the EOS.IO source code and uses the only decentralized consensus algorithm capable of meeting the performance needs of blockchain applications: Delegated Proof of Stake (DPoS).

According to this algorithm, blockchain token holders can choose block producers through an incessant vote, and anyone can decide to participate in block production and get the right to produce the number of blocks proportional to the number of votes received relative to all other producers, receiving a reward with UNTB blockchain tokens.

Emission of UNTB is distributed between holders of CRU and WCRU tokens only when placing CRU or WCRU tokens in stacking for UNTB, as well as between block producers (holders of network nodes), for maintaining the operability of the network.

From December 17, 2021, the development of the Cryptounit blockchain moves to the next stage, and at the same time, the proportions of the distribution of the UNTB token emission are changing:

  • 40% to holders of CRU and WCRU tokens (staked for UNTB)
  • 40% to major block producers
  • 20% to the account of the Cryptounit Inc fund (for technical transactions, project development, grants, etc.)

How to become a producer

By the way, the competition for producers is already taking place right now and will last until February 10, 2022. There are only 10 free places left to get into the top 21. Therefore, if you are a specialist capable of securing block bandwidth and increasing the value of the Cryptounit network in various ways, or maybe you are already a block producer in other networks based on EOS.IO, then you have every chance of being chosen by the community. Applications are accepted on the Cryptounit blockchain website in the "Producer" section.

Why you should vote

The nominated block producer should contribute to the development of the Cryptounit community and network, as well as distribute the UNTB mined by it among the users voting for it. Therefore, it is important to choose reliable block producers.
